The textile industry's evolving material agenda came into sharper focus as Yarn Expo Autumn 2026 closed in Shanghai. Buyers were able to assess recycled, bio-based and regenerated fibres directly against performance-led solutions at the four concurrent shows, and responsible choices were shown to meet practical requirements across a range of textile applications.

Over 100,000 visitors and more than 3,500 exhibitors from 30 countries and regions gathered in Shanghai across three days for the autumn edition of the Intertextile Apparel Fabrics fair. Four sourcing pillars spanning creativity, technical performance, responsible production and digital tools guided buyer discussions across 240,000 sq m at the National Exhibition and Convention Center.

Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics Autumn Edition 2026 is under way at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) from 25 to 27 August, welcoming buyers, exhibitors and delegates for a three-day sourcing and networking programme. Fashion Forward, Performance Textiles, Sustainability and Textile Future organise the exhibitor showcase this edition.

A marked rise in international participation has closed Intertextile Shenzhen Apparel Fabrics 2026, with over 20,000 visits recorded from 74 markets alongside nearly 620 exhibitors. The fair's repositioning towards innovation supported debut fringe events covering sustainable materials, digital manufacturing and industry collaboration, and the fair remains a key South China textile business platform.

Yarn Expo Shenzhen 2026 has closed with a marked rise in exhibitor participation, drawing buyers from 74 countries and regions to explore greener, performance-led and value-added yarn and fibre solutions over three days. Held alongside Intertextile Shenzhen Apparel Fabrics and PH Value, the event reinforced Shenzhen's position as a key Greater Bay Area meeting point for the textile industry.

Two concurrent textile fairs open in Shenzhen this June, drawing over 600 exhibitors from 11 countries and regions across halls covering around 45,000 sqm. Intertextile Shenzhen Apparel Fabrics and Yarn Expo Shenzhen will pair heritage materials with sustainability, digitalisation, and AI, presenting buyers with a broad sourcing platform spanning fibres, fabrics, and trend intelligence.

New emphasis on pet textiles, climate-adaptive fabrics, and silver-age applications will define Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics – Autumn Edition when it returns to Shanghai from 25 to 27 August 2026. The 2026 fair builds on a 2025 edition that drew more than 3,700 exhibitors and 100,000 buyers, guided by four themes: Fashion Forward, Performance Textiles, Sustainability, and Textile Future.

Yarn and fibre sourcing is set to converge in Shanghai this August, as Yarn Expo Autumn 2026 opens at the National Exhibition and Convention Center from 25 to 27 August. The edition will span specialised product zones and international suppliers, with concurrent fairs covering the broader textile value chain, as buyers scrutinise environmental credentials, traceability requirements and material performance with increasing rigour.
