BRANDS TO WATCH: Highlighted exhibitors across both fairs cover the full breadth of the sourcing offer: a European wool mill with over 180 years of history, Peruvian heritage alpaca, functional insulators, and fibres drawn from plants and recycled materials. The selection across Intertextile Shenzhen and Yarn Expo Shenzhen captures both the craft tradition and material innovation that organisers have made special efforts to integrate at this edition.

- Incalpaca TPX SA of Peru, part of Grupo Inca, specialises in natural fibres such as alpaca and has established partnerships with top global fashion brands through its focus on sustainability and superior craftsmanship.
- Trabaldo Togna SpA, founded in 1840, has produced superfine fabrics for renowned luxury labels for over 180 years, with its Chinese agent showcasing the latest worsted wool fabrics and tweeds at this edition.

ON THE AGENDA: Fringe programming across both fairs covers four directions organisers have chosen to prioritise: AI applications for fashion, digital transformation, sustainable materials, and upstream fibre innovation. Events will span two dedicated venues within the halls, Textile Dialogue in Hall 1 and Talking Point in Hall 9, and the Future Horizons Forum will address all four programme themes.
- The Innovation Studio will feature curated displays from the Asia International Hemp Federation, the School of Fashion and Textiles at Hong Kong Polytechnic University, the Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong, and Wuyi University, located adjacent to the Digital Innovation Exploration Space.
- The S/S 2027 Fabrics China Trend Forum will draw on macro trends and consumer insights to identify in-demand design styles and materials for the upcoming fashion season.
- A forum on digital transformation for SMEs will address intelligent upgrading of the textile industry through actionable case studies and hands-on lightweight tools.
- Experts from the Asia International Hemp Federation and Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna will explore hemp value chain technologies, highlighting the fibre's innovative applications and scalable potential.

- The next edition in the Messe Frankfurt calendar, Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics Autumn Edition and Yarn Expo Autumn, takes place 25 to 27 August in Shanghai.
WHAT THEY SAID
We are proud to give our exhibitors the opportunity to leverage the fashion potential in the heart of China's current manufacturing and tech capital. Both shows will welcome domestic and international buyers looking to pair sustainable textile innovation with downstream technological progress. In today's world, progress is rapid but there is also a very real trend of nostalgia that many of our exhibitors capture with their offerings.
