Seven Start-ups Win 2022 ITMF Awards

From the next generation of performance membranes to meaningful digitalisation for the supply chain, a total of seven young innovative enterprises bagged the first ever ITMF Start-up Awards at the recently concluded ITMF Annual Conference 2022 held in Davos, Switzerland.

The ITMF has presented for the first time the ITMF Start-up Awards for 2022. These have been awarded to seven start-ups for their product and service innovations.

The Criteria: Next to an innovative business idea, the criteria applied by the jury comprised aspects like criteria for business propositions, criteria related to sustainability, recyclability, or digitalisation as well as qualitative efficiency.

  • These seven start-ups were selected by a jury from a total of more than 40 start-ups. They could present their ideas in two “Start-up Sessions” during the ITMF Annual Conference 2022 held recently in Davos, Switzerland.
  • The objective of the ITMF Start-up Awards is to bring together young companies with innovative product and service innovations with well-established companies from the textiles industry.

And the Award Goes to: The winners of the ITMF Start-up Award 2022 are (in alphabetical order):

  1. ColorDigital GmbH (Germany): DMIx – meaningful digitalisation for the supply chain;
  2. Designovel (South Korea): What to make, what to sell?;
  3. Dimpora (Switzerland): Dimpora: The next generation of performance membranes;
  4. Farbenpunkt Inc (US): Textile printing and dyeing for the 21st century;
  5. Fibrecoat (Germany): Alucoat – affordable conductive textiles for EMI shielding and more;
  6. Frontier.Cool.Inc. (Taiwan): Leveraging AI for seamless digital workflows and collaboration;
  7. R-INOVE (Brazil): Textile Traceability.
