WHY DELEGATIONS MATTER: The exhibition has established itself as a hub for collaboration across the textile and garment machinery ecosystem. Associations cite technology adoption as critical for competitiveness, with automation and digitalisation high on member priorities. Organisations are leveraging the Singapore location for accessibility and efficiency in engaging with suppliers and partners.

FROM PAST TO PRESENT: Beyond immediate sourcing, ITMA ASIA + CITME represents continuity in a long history of global textile machinery showcases. Returning to Singapore reflects the exhibition’s enduring international footprint and its role as a gateway to Asia’s evolving textile industry.

  • ITMA has been staged in Europe every four years since 1951, most recently in 2023.
  • CITME was launched in Beijing in 1988 and ran 10 editions until 2006.
  • ITMA ASIA and CITME combined in Shanghai in 2008, held biennially since then.
  • The next combined edition will be staged in Shanghai in 2026 at the National Exhibition and Convention Centre.

Kamran Arshad
Chairman
All Pakistan Textile Mills Association

This exhibition is a key opportunity for us to see advanced machinery and make the right investment decisions. It is timely as the Bank of Industry Fashion Fund offers loans for equipment purchases at favourable rates. We are sending a delegation as we hope to keep abreast of trending technologies and find solutions that will make our industry more efficient and competitive. With Africa gaining attention as a sourcing destination, now is the time to invest in technology that matches our ambitions.
