Marina Crnoja-Cosic

Marina Crnoja-Cosic, Board Member/Senior Advisor/Expert New Business Development, has almost 25 years of experience in fibre and application development as well as in business development. Customised and market-oriented solutions, cross-company cooperation along the value chain and constant attention to long-term industry and particularly to textile and nonwoven trends are the essential features of her work.

She has played roles in the textile and nonwoven organisations in Europe and extended network across fibre, textile and nonwovens industry.

Her role as president of the Joint Research Centre and Textile ETP (European Technology Platform) in Brussels, Belgium, provided her with valuable experience in driving collaborative research initiatives and advancing technological innovation in the textile sector.

As a Board Member of CIRFS (European man-made fibre association), she contributed to shaping industry policies and promoting the interests of European textile manufacturers on a broader scale.

Additionally, the role as a board member observer of EURATEX (The European Apparel and Textile Confederation) in Brussels and as a board member of the German Textile Research Board in Berlin, gave her invaluable insights into international industry dynamics, textile strategies and regulatory frameworks.

As a proactive member of the advisory board at the most important hygiene/nonwoven trade fair INDEX/Geneva, she influenced and worked on strategies in this sector too.
