Anastasia Vayona is a social scientist with a background in circular economy, sustainability, and citizen engagement and have over 20 years of cross-cultural experience spanning five countries.
Her research on citizens’ perceptions of circular packaging for food and beverage products has led to the development of the innovative “Human In the Circular Loop” (HITCL) approach. Currently based at Bournemouth University, Anastasia investigates the intersection of human perceptions of environmental issues like biodiversity and sustainable diets. Her work bridges academic research and practical industry applications.
