Bharat Tex 2026 will showcase India's complete textile value chain across dedicated exhibition halls covering fibre, yarn, fabric, apparel and fashion, home textiles, technical textiles and ancillary industries, with dedicated space given to textile clusters such as Tiruppur, Ichalkaranji and Ahmedabad. Institutional representation comes from the United Nations and the European Union, alongside participation from key industry sponsors and international exhibitors from 14 countries.

- The third edition of the event is expected to witness participation of over 1.3 lakh trade visitors across the four-day exhibition period this year.
INSIDE THE PROGRAMME: The third edition will anchor a knowledge programme of over 100 sessions, a scale-up from the previous edition, with 39 panel discussions, 16 roundtables, 37 masterclasses and eight state sessions. More than 50 partner agencies have been onboarded to support the programme. The event will facilitate nearly 3,500 business meetings and over 100 business-to-government (B2G) meetings, alongside a boost to investment promotion, sourcing partnerships, sustainable manufacturing and Brand India positioning.
- The knowledge programme will span six thematic areas: trade and investment, technology and innovation, sustainability and circularity, fashion and craft, policy sessions and dedicated state sessions.

GLOBAL DELEGATIONS: Ministerial delegations from New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Jordan, Cambodia and Brunei have shown interest in Bharat Tex 2026, while industry and business delegations from the United States, Japan, Spain, United Kingdom, Portugal, Russia, South Africa, New Zealand, the United Arab Emirates, Thailand, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Myanmar and Uganda are expected to participate. The engagements have been designed to reflect each delegation's specific requirements, tied to bilateral trade and industry priorities.
- Dedicated bilateral sessions will cover themes including the India-US cotton partnership, the India-New Zealand wool ecosystem and the India-UK FTA in action.
- Additional sessions will focus on Japan delegation engagement and Russia-focused textile discussions, forming part of the broader delegation and business programme.
- Ministerial interest from these nations will support Bharat Tex's role as a platform for international policy dialogue and bilateral cooperation in the textile sector.
AWARDS AND DIGITAL TOOLS: Bharat Tex 2026 will also host the CITI Textile Sustainability Awards 2026, structured around seven core focus areas covering resource efficiency, energy and emissions, circular economy, sustainable materials, social responsibility, responsible business and industry collaboration. The framework reflects the full spectrum of practices spanning water and materials conservation, renewable energy adoption, circular innovation, ethical supply chains and cluster-level partnerships across the textile value chain.
- A newly launched Mobile App will be a unified digital companion, enabling event navigation, exhibitor discovery, B2B meeting scheduling, digital badge access, QR-based lead capture and live agenda access.
- The App will provide AI-powered assistance, helping buyers, delegates and exhibitors with matchmaking, managing meetings, locating booths, accessing floor plans and receiving real-time updates.
- A Pre-Fair Directory will complement the App by enabling buyer-seller matchmaking ahead of the event, helping identify relevant companies and business partners in advance.
INVESTMENT AND PARTICIPATION: State Investor Connect Sessions, among the edition's significant new features, have been planned for Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Bihar, Maharashtra, Telangana and Tamil Nadu, providing a platform to present investment opportunities, industrial infrastructure, PM MITRA linkages, policy support and sectoral strengths. A focused Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh PM MITRA Master Developer Session has also been confirmed, alongside the wider state programme.
- These sessions are expected to strengthen Centre-State-industry collaboration, attract fresh investments and support long-term growth across the textile manufacturing sector.
