Jordan’s garment, textile and leather industry is on a high, making a substantial contribution to the country’s GDP while remaining globally competitive, according to a report.
Although the garment industry in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan remains politically and economically important, highlighted as a “high-value industry” in the Economic Modernization Vision of the country, the sector is going through increased uncertainty.
