The Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act is a US federal law that would change US policy on China's Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region (XUAR, or Xinjiang) with the goal of ensuring that American entities are not funding forced labour among ethnic minorities in the region. Because Xinjiang supplies nearly 84% of China's cotton, any cotton, textile or garment products from China are likely tainted with forced labour.
