The apex University Grants Commission has asked all Universities and Colleges in the country to use khadi products at the events such as seminars, conferences and workshops, keep in tune with the Prime Minister's 2015 call prefer khadi products.
In a landmark victory for the Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC), the Delhi High Court has passed an interim order restraining two private entities from using the ‘khadi’ mark.
