The Recycled Polyester Challenge aims to increase the use of recycled polyester across the fashion and textile industries. Participating companies have worked toward a goal of sourcing 45–100% of the polyester they use from recycled materials by fiscal 2025. At YKK, the use of recycled polyester had already reached 45% or more by fiscal 2024 and increased further to 50% in fiscal 2025.

Going forward, YKK will continue working to increase its use of recycled polyester in its products.
