NEW DELHI, INDIA: Office & You (O&Y), the homegrown workwear label, celebrated the opening of its 2nd store at DLF Midtown Plaza, Moti Nagar, Delhi with an intimate high tea that brought together an eclectic mix of professionals from across Delhi.
The gathering saw guests from media, events, education, medicine and the corporate world, making the afternoon as diverse as the women O&Y designs for. Conversations moved effortlessly from work and fashion to the changing expectations of women in professional spaces.
The Delhi launch follows O&Y’s first store in Noida, marking another milestone for the brand as it expands its physical retail presence.
According to Varija Bajaj, Founder & Creative Head, Office & You, the next chapter of women’s workwear in India is about moving beyond imitation. “Why should workwear for Indian women always have to come with a Western reference point? We don’t live the same lives, we don’t have the same weather, and we don’t work in the same environments.”
“An Indian woman can be in a boardroom in the morning, at a school, hospital or client meeting in the afternoon and somewhere culturally sensitive by evening. Her wardrobe needs to move with her.” Bajaj believes the future of workwear lies not in prescribing what a professional woman should wear, but in giving her enough choices to define professionalism on her own terms.

The launch of the DLF Midtown Plaza store comes as O&Y continues to grow its presence and build a category around its distinctive approach to Indian workwear.
