CASTELLÓN, SPAIN: From 28 to 30 May 2026, the city of Castellón de la Plana, Spain, will become an international meeting point for creativity, cultural exchange and global fashion visibility with the celebration of MODAVISION, opening Plaza Mayor to the world as a shared stage where fashion connects countries and cultures.
Over three days, Castellón de la Plana will host an international live fashion format broadcast globally, allowing audiences worldwide to participate in real-time voting alongside an international professional jury to select the Best Designer in the World, with designers taking part as official representatives of their countries in MODAVISION.
Created by Olga IF, the only person in the world holding two GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ in fashion, MODAVISION continues to establish itself as a distinctive international format within the contemporary fashion landscape and as a global platform for cultural dialogue between countries.
The celebration of MODAVISION in Castellón de la Plana takes place in collaboration with Somnis Events and Chanelo Chano, with institutional support from the City Council of Castellón, Castellón Tourism and Castellón Commerce, positioning the Mediterranean city as an emerging meeting point for international creative exchange.
MODAVISION presents an experiential format that integrates fashion, culture and urban space, featuring international models and contributing to the activation of the historic city centre while strengthening connections between cultural activity, public space and the local economic environment.
The event also contributes to strengthening Castellón de la Plana’s international cultural and tourism projection as a creative destination open to the world.
Under the message “Fashion Dresses in Peace”, MODAVISION promotes an international meeting space where fashion becomes a shared language connecting countries.
The project continues its international expansion through the development of delegations in different territories around the world, including Latin America, Ireland and Ukraine, supporting the selection of designers representing their countries.
The format has already generated nearly half a million international interactions, reflecting its growing connection with global audiences and its expanding visibility beyond the local context.
Participation in MODAVISION also develops through international open calls addressed to designers and collaborators worldwide, progressively expanding its international participation network.
The project also includes institutional partnerships linked to cultural and tourism promotion in different countries, including Argentina and Ukraine, reinforcing its role as a platform for cooperation between territories through fashion.
These partnerships further contribute to expanding the project’s international cultural, tourism and media projection.
This growing institutional support, together with global live broadcasting and real-time audience participation, strengthens Castellón de la Plana’s position as a meeting point between creativity, culture and international audiences.
A space where designers from different countries meet.
