Indian Apparel Exports Dropped 14.17% in May: CITI Analysis

Cumulative exports of textiles and apparel during May’26 registered a degrowth of -5.40% over May’25.

New Delhi, India: During May’26, Indian Textiles exports registered a growth of 2.47% over the previous year while Apparel exports registered a significant degrowth of -14.17% during the same time period.

Cumulative Exports of Textiles and Apparel during May’26 have registered a degrowth of -5.40% over May’25.

During Apr-May’26, Indian Textiles exports registered a growth of 3.03% over the previous year while Apparel exports registered a degrowth of -12.98% during the same time.

Cumulative Exports of Textiles and Apparel during Apr-May’26 registered a degrowth of -4.44% as compared to Apr-May’25.
