HONG KONG: Crystal International Group Limited has partnered with Schneider Electric’s global consulting practice, SE Advisory Services, as part of the commitment to accelerating renewable energy deployment and enhancing energy efficiency across its global operations. The collaboration focuses on scaling rooftop solar PV and optimising air-conditioning energy performance, advancing the Group’s Net Zero 2050 ambition and Crystal Sustainability Vision 2030.

To optimise solar PV installation potential, the Group has entered a collaboration with SE Advisory Services to develop a robust, data-driven solar roadmap assessing installable capacity across global factories. The project took a comprehensive approach, evaluating key environmental and technical factors, including available roof areas, roof condition, structural integrity, and optimal PV system configurations. By translating these insights into an actionable roadmap, the Group is well positioned to systematically expedite clean energy deployment, building on its existing 24.6MW of installed rooftop solar PV.

In parallel, the collaboration addresses the growing challenge of heat stress through air-conditioning (AC) energy performance benchmarking. This enables the Group to identify and implement energy-efficient cooling solutions tailored to specific local factory conditions as it plans future AC expansions and retrofits. Through optimised system design and informed equipment selection, Crystal International strives to enhance workplace comfort and well-being for workers while reducing energy consumption and associated carbon emissions.

“Joining hands with SE Advisory Services exemplifies our ongoing efforts in decarbonisation and our ambition to deliver sustainable, future-ready solutions. With their expertise, we are confident in our ability to effectively balance worker well-being with climate mitigation in achieving resilience,” said Catherine Chiu, Vice President – Corporate Quality & Sustainability at Crystal International.

Collaboration with key stakeholders is a strategic approach to successful climate actions. Crystal International is actively engaging industry partners to accelerate decarbonisation efforts and amplify collective impact, contributing to the transition toward a low-carbon fashion future.
