Karachi, Pakistan: AGI Denim, a leading denim and jeans manufacturer, invites all to explore the future of responsible manufacturing at the Denim Futures exhibition. Hosted at The Mills Fabrica in King’s Cross, London, this expertly installed showcase seeks to inspire a sustainable future that includes denim by spotlighting cutting-edge innovations in responsible manufacturing.
AGI Denim has partnered with industry pioneers FibreTrace, Good Earth Cotton, and Renewcell to create this immersive installation that illustrates the cutting-edge of circular design and field-to-fashion initiatives. The display demonstrates how our beloved jeans can be manufactured with recycled textile waste and regenerative farmed cotton, which can be fully traceable in the final product. It seeks to raise awareness and questions like, “Why isn’t all fashion made this way?”
This compelling exhibit is now open for viewing at The Mills Fabrica from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm, through December 31, 2023. Visitors will gain a unique insight into the evolution of denim manufacturing that embraces a more sustainable and environmentally considerate approach.
Installed within The Mills Fabrica's innovation gallery and concept store, Fabrica X, Denim Futures serves as an inspiration to the fashion industry and consumers at large. Denim, having a deep-rooted place in fashion history, has always evolved to resonate with contemporary times. In a world addressing climate change and with consumers advocating for brand transparency, denim readies itself for its next transformative chapter.
At Denim Futures, AGI Denim’s exhibit provides a glimpse into the upcoming era of denim production. In collaboration with Renewcell, the display highlights the rejuvenation of recycled textiles into pristine, quality fabrics, minimizing waste and reducing the fashion industry's ecological footprint. Good Earth Cotton and FibreTrace focus on transparency and traceability of raw materials, emphasizing ethical cotton sourcing.
"This is a pivotal moment for denim," said Hasan Javed, Executive Director at AGI Denim. He added, "As the consequences of climate change become increasingly evident, and consumers seek eco-conscious choices, we are excited to present our vision for responsible denim manufacturing."
All are invited to join AGI Denim and its partners to learn about the industry's movement towards a sustainable future.
