New York, US: gallery@ AGI Denim is pleased to announce the opening of Exquisite Blue Towers, an exhibition of collaborative and individual artworks that celebrate indigo as a color by artists Holly E. Brown, Juan Manuel Gomez, and Mauricio Arroyave. The show will run from July 22 through August 6, 2022, with an opening reception on July 21, 2022 at 6:30 PM in gallery@'s Chelsea NYC gallery.

The works use towers to connect three cities of personal significance: Biella, Medellín, and New York. During the creation process, the artists were inspired by the Surrealist movement of the early 20th century. Techniques to be presented include drawing, painting, and printmaking with Officina+39 Recycrom™ as a medium.

gallery@ is the art-celebrating arm of AGI Denim, a B Corp certified leader in Pakistan's denim industry. The mission of gallery@ is to champion working artists by providing gallery and logistics support, including space, materials, and marketing.

Henry Wong, gallery@'s Gallery Director, says "For this show, three artists who share our deep passion for denim were selected to exhibit. Holly E. Brown, Juan Manuel, and Mauro Arroyave have brought their unique styles into the collaborative statement entitled Exquisite Blue Towers. We are so excited to share this with the world."

Holly E. Brown, the owner of Clockworks Press, is an artist, printmaker, and art educator based in Brooklyn, NYC. Her work is inspired by architecture and infused with the rawness of reality and the abstract. She loves to print on paper and repurposed denim, keeping in line with her passion for sustainability.

Juan Manuel Gomez, also known as De Ver Azul, is a Colombian artist and painter from Medellín who creates paintings using tools from an original jean maker. His primary palette is indigo and blue, reminiscent of his time working in the denim laundry processes. His work is outstanding and unique in form and feature and has helped him gain popularity in the industry.

Mauricio Arroyave is a painter, plastic artist, art director, and art designer from Medellín. He has 12 years' worth of experience designing denim showrooms which are reflected in his work. His understanding of spaces as a reference rather than the exclusive result of a specific observation in a particular area is profound. He celebrates the summary of experiences lived and conjugated in an immediate environment in his pieces to move his audience.

The exhibition is supported by AGI Denim, New York.
