Unveiled in December 2020, EURATEX's ReHubs initiative aims at establishing an integrated system based on five recycling hubs (ReHubs) within Europe, to upcycle textile waste and scale up industrially the collecting, sorting, processing and recycling of pre-consumer and post-consumer materials.

Europe Will Need €7 billion to Reach Fibre-to-Fibre Recycling Rate of 26% by 2030

Europe will need a capital expenditure investment in the range of €6–7 billion to reach a fibre-to-fibre recycling rate of around 18–26% by 2030. This would mostly be needed to scale up sufficient sorting and processing infrastructure.
