Mali Jean Borisch of Kendall College of Art and Design at Ferris State University (Michigan) secured top honours for ‘Seasons of Citrus’, a sustainable reversible multi-season travel line made out of orange fibre. The American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists' (AATCC) Concept2Consumer Student Design competition saw four winners showcase their creative design and problem-solving skills in textile/apparel design for the theme adaptive travelwear that incorporates recycled materials and sustainable manufacturing.
